The above picture is Nabeel Qureshi after his baptism by best friend David Wood on August 23, 2005.
This page is dedicated to Nabeel Qureshi and those like him, who are willing to discuss topics of theology with grace, civility, and respect, regardless of where they stand with God.
Nabeel was a devout Muslim, who while in college, met David Wood, a Christian. They had numerous conversations over a period of years regarding the viability and truth of Christianity versus Islam, but they also became great friends despite their initial theological differences. After much research and many discussions, Nabeel became a Christian. He discovered the truth of Jesus and Christianity, and as a logical, reasonable man, could no longer remain in Islam. Nabeel wrote about his journey in “Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus.” He also has written other books, “No God but One: Allah or Jesus?: A Former Muslim Investigates the Evidence for Islam and Christianity“ and “Answering Jihad: A Better Way Forward.“
Nabeel obtained his M.D., was working on a Ph.D. from Oxford, two Masters including an M.A. in Christian Apologetics from Biola, my alma mater. He worked for Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM) as a speaker. He has a number of vlogs dealing with a variety of subjects, which can be seen on YouTube.
Nabeel passed into heaven on September 16, 2017. We mourn with his parents, sister, his wife, and daughter, and all of his friends, as we are sad we will not see him for a while. But we also rejoice, because Nabeel is no longer in pain from cancer. He is in the presence of God. Nabeel knows what perfect love, perfect grace, perfect truth is, and those of us who remain long to be with him.
But we want everyone around us to be with us when we experience this perfection, so we continue to tell all we encounter about the saving grace of Jesus, with the fervent hope that we will all be before God in joy. That is the point of this site, to share the Gospel of Jesus the Messiah with anyone and everyone who will give us the time, or even just an ear for a few minutes, with love, grace, civility, and respect.
